Q. Why choose Designaplant?
A. Designaplant was founded as a family business in 1985. We have over 30 years' experience supplying plants and floral displays to businesses of all sizes. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a personal, friendly service combined with expert horticultural knowledge and creative flair.
Q. Which types of business would benefit from plant displays?
A. Plant and floral displays will enhance any business environment. Our clients include retail shops, offices, restaurants, hotels and public houses.
Q. Should we choose real or replica plants?
A. Replica plants are suited to areas where there is little or no natural light or extremes of temperature or humidity. Replica plants also offer a low maintenance alternative to living plants.
Living plants, as well as looking beautiful, contribute to the humidity regulation of their surroundings and keep air free from dust and toxin particles.
Q. How do we look after our plants?
A. If you have purchased plants we offer expert tips and advice on watering, feeding and pruning. Alternatively, we can regularly maintain the plants for you at a small additional cost. If you are hiring a plant display from us the rental price includes regular maintenance visits where we clean, feed, prune and water the plants.
Q. One of our plants looks a bit poorly!
A. If you are concerned about any of your plants, please call or email us and we will be happy to help. We regularly check the health of your plants as part of our plant maintenance plan which includes replacing unhealthy plants if necessary.
Q. How often will your maintenance visits take place?
A. On average, one of our staff will visit every 2-3 weeks
